Founder and Managing Partner
Maria T. Santi, Esq.
Maria T. Santi is the founder of the Health and Medicine law firm. She assists patients and consumers with health and medicine related disputes. She represents patients throughout Florida in medical coverage and billing disputes, coverage actions against health insurers, and patient rights issues against medical facilities, substance abuse and mental health facilities, and medical professionals. She also handles ERISA actions when medical benefits are denied. Additionally, Maria offers legal consulting services to medical providers related to health insurance coverage issues, health law advocacy groups and non-profit organizations related to patient rights to protect patients and consumers.

Anaili Triana, Esq.
Anaili Triana obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 2010 and her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in 2015. Ms. Triana begin her career gaining significant experience in first party property and civil litigation by representing some of the largest home insurance carriers in the state of Florida. Ms. Triana then shifted her practice to representing homeowners against insurance carriers for their denied or underpaid home insurance claim. Ms. Triana has also gained experience in representing patients in medical coverage and billing disputes in her role as Of Counsel at the Health and Medicine Law Firm. Ms. Triana is committed to providing each of its clients the personal and dedicated representation they need in order to obtain the benefits they may deserve.

Firm Administrator
Veronica Urdaneta
Veronica comes to us with both a strong medical and professional administrative background, having spent time as an administrator throughout her professional career. She has a passion for health advocacy and providing a positive experience to those she serves. Keen on understanding client needs, she is ready to assist in any way possible.
Her desire to help others stemmed from her own experiences within the health system. Having endured a few of her own struggles, she is passionate about encouraging others to seek alternative treatment protocols in conjunction with standard medicine.
Veronica has completed paralegal coursework, is enthusiastic about learning new things and has attended multiple educational institutions such as Miami-Dade College, Miami International University of Art and Design, and Le Cordon Bleu. She is Bilingual, and Fluent in English and Spanish. She appreciates spending time with family and regularly volunteers at her local school. She also has a fascination with culinary arts and music.

Paralegal
Ashlee Bott
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Ashlee holds a bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University. As a military spouse, she had the unique opportunity to live in Okinawa, Japan, for three years, an experience that broadened her perspective and deepened her appreciation for different cultures.
Her professional journey began in healthcare, where she dedicated seven years to working as a respiratory therapist in a fast-paced hospital setting. During that time, she developed a strong passion for patient care, advocacy, and the critical role of medical professionals in improving lives. Seeking new challenges while still making a meaningful impact, she transitioned into the legal field as a paralegal. This career shift allows her to combine her analytical skills with her commitment to helping others, particularly in health and medical advocacy.
Beyond her professional life, she is a devoted mother who cherishes every moment with her two children. She has a deep love for football, enjoys getting lost in a great book, and finds fulfillment in championing causes that empower and support others. Whether through healthcare, law, or advocacy, her goal has always been to make a difference in the lives of those around her.

Legal Administrative Assistant
Shaula Reyes
Shaula is a currently a law major with an interest in Psychology. During high school Shaula was a member of several clubs and societies such as Agape Bible Club, Mas Respect, Mind Body Connection, and Thespian Honor Society. She was also the President of Mas Mental Health and contributed 500 hours of community service. She is currently enrolled in Florida International University and is completing general coursework in psychology and law. Shaula speaks English and Spanish. She handles all case document management and intakes for prospective clients. She enjoys photography and spending time with her family.
